Project Management | Supply Chain / Logistics background | Hands-on | Customer Implementation | IT

Our customer is a 4PL organisation that manage large international logistics operations on behalf on their customers.

The Project Manager will be responsible for project managing the implementation of new customer for the customer organisation. Apart from this main focus, the project manager can be assigned to internal and other relevant projects as well. Projects can be customer focussed, departmental or cross functional.

Key responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain and manage operational and strategic project plans
- Improve, develop and design processes and procedures as part of the projects
- Manage the execution project
- Follow up the project achievement, manage the various project task
- Complete project task him/her self
- Support the development of new markets and clients/services

1. Strong project management skills and preferably experience with Prince2 or other project management tools and or Six Sigma
2. Logistics solution design skills
3. Good general understanding of logistics operational processes.
4. More than average understanding IT logistics related topics, comfortable defining IT business requirements and discuss with IT departments.
5. Work experience in a multicultural and multi-functional environment
6. Work experience in a matrix-like organisation
7. Strong personality that is motivated by the complexity of a project and will strive for uniformity and project control
8. Very strong communicator at all levels
9. Hands-on personality that is not afraid of getting his/her hands dirty and execute project tasks him- herself
